Assunta Alumni Patron for this event, Y.Bhg Puan Sri Suslita Majid (batch of 1969 and wife of Ketua Setiausaha Negara Tan Sri Samsuddin Osman) will grace this occasion. Without a doubt, founder of our old school Sister Enda Ryan and present headmistress, Mrs SK Lim will be attending. On the list are past and present teachers of the school too. As the first dinner and dance in the new millennium, the Assunta Dinner & Dance 2001 has on its agenda Phases of Life, a unique fashion show by old girls who have now taken on the roles of mothers, homemakers, working professionals and community leaders. So come on girls - do your part to bring the ballroom down as we to extend this special invitation to all ex-Assuntarians from pioneer years of 1958 onwards to volunteer as models. Your chance of a lifetime to catwalk with your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren too! Assunta Alumni, a non-profit organization managed by a very dedicated committee comprising of ex-Assuntarians who want to relive the Assunta spirit, hence the tagline ‘Assunta Spirit Alive!’. Proceeds from this dinner will be channeled towards the Alumni’s activities and to support our old school Sekolah Menengah Assunta. Projects in the pipeline include refurbishment of the Sr Enda School Hall, revival of The Thinking Pool, and raising funds for the school’s proposed 4-storey building. By the way, due to unavailability of a suitable venue on a Saturday this year, this event has to be held on a Sunday. As the next day is a working day, the event will begin at 6pm for you to catch-up on the news with fellow schoolmates. For those who feel the night is still young, you are most welcome to stay on, for that's when the dance begins at 10.30pm! Volunteers for the fashion show, please call Angie (012) 398-1179. Enquiries and ticket reservations, kindly call Carmel (03) 7952-5080, (012) 2068800, Christina (016) 271-8738, Jane (013) 3507235 or email teammates@AssuntaAlumni.com Be there! Organising Teammates
