This is to certify that Sister Mary Stella Asirvatham, a member of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, is Coordinator of the Saint Clare Homecraft Centre at Kakuma in this diocese of Lodwar.
Sister Mary Stella is dedicated to improving the skills and quality of life of many Turkana girls. Due to her efforts and to those of her staff, a growing number of young women are finding employment in this District and fulfilment in their lives.
There is a need for a vehicle in this institution for its innumerable activities. Unfortunately, vehicles that are suitable for this part of Kenya, are very expensive.
The Diocese of Lodwar already has huge financial commitments and is unable to meet all the demands placed upon it. The Project Committee heartily endorses the efforts of Sister Mary Stella Asirvatham to acquire a vehicle for the Saint Clare of Assisi, Turkana Homecraft Centre, Kakuma, Kenya.
