Our children are the children of Malaysia and of the universe. Their joys are our joys; their sorrows are our sorrows. And together we hope to grow with them as they journey towards adulthood in search of a better and more meaningful life ahead.

We hope to restore in our children their sense of dignity and pride, and rightful place in society.

Most of the children are come from the urban slums that lie behind the beautiful facade of KL and PJ, example, Kampung Medan in Old Klang Road, Baru 10 in Sungai Way, Brickfields and the more squalid areas in PJ Old Town.

ACS learning centre is helping about 45 families by providing education, food, clothing etc to 56 children from these families. Daily educational activities are conducted for the children with the help of volunteers.

Currently, there are 18 children from the ages of 4 to 12 years old, who come to the centre on weekdays from 9.00am to 2.00pm and 38 children from the ages of 7 to 18 years old who come on Sundays 11.00am to 5.00pm. 

The centre also helps families and children to apply for their legal documents. Some of our children do not posses Birth Certificates and these children of stateless parents are denied places in our schools. Therefore some of our children have not been to school even though they are already 10 years old.

At ACS, we help such children to aquire the basic skills in reading and writing before embarking them on to the new challenge of going to school. 

There is a need for someone to help these children to enroll them in to schools. Also, a great need of volunteers or financial help to run the cost of the centre.
